Questions
What families ask us
How does admissions work?
Families visit, apply and hear from us in March. The admissions page lists each step, and the calendar shows the months.
When are open houses and visits?
Open house week is in the winter. Visit mornings run most Wednesdays from October to March, and you may book one on the visit page. You can visit before you apply.
Do students have to be Catholic?
No. Families of any faith are welcome to apply. Every student takes part in religion class and school Masses, and the faith page explains what that looks like.
What is a day like?
Prayer, reading and writing, math and lunch in the morning, then religion, science or history, and art, music, library or gym in the afternoon. The day page walks through it.
How does tuition work, and how do we ask about financial aid?
Tuition is set by the year and the grade, and the office gives the figures at a visit. Financial aid is available; here is how to apply: ask for the aid form when you apply. The tuition page explains each step.
How big are the classes?
Each grade has its own classroom. The program matrix on the programs page lists the class size for each group of grades.
What about lunch, uniform and phones?
Families send a lunch. Students wear a uniform, and phones stay switched off in backpacks. The policies page has the details.
Is there before or after care?
Yes. Before care opens at 7:00 a.m. and after care runs until 5:30 p.m. Families pay for the days they use.
How does the school talk with families?
Teachers write home twice a year and meet families in the fall and the winter. The office sends a weekly email, and the principal answers email within a school day or two.
When do we hear back?
Decisions go out in late March, by letter and by phone, and brothers and sisters are read together.
Still wondering?
Come and see a classroom, or send the office a note.
