Family policies

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

When to keep your child home

A child with a fever, or who has been sick overnight, stays home until the next morning. When a child is unwell at school, the office calls a parent, so please keep a phone number current.

Drop-off and pickup

The front door opens at 7:45 a.m. and a teacher greets each child there. At dismissal, teachers walk each child to the right car or to the after care room, and only adults on the family's pickup list may collect a child. Bring identification the first time.

Closures for weather and holidays

The school follows the parish calendar: Christmas, Holy Week and the major feast days are closed days. The office sends snow closings by text and email before 6:30 a.m., and the calendar is handed out at the visit.

Absences and late arrival

Call or email the office by 8:30 a.m. when a student will be absent. A student who arrives after morning prayer checks in at the office first.

Screens and phones

Students do not use phones during the day. A phone that comes to school stays switched off in a backpack. Older students use school laptops in a few classes, with a teacher present.

Uniform

Students wear a uniform: a polo or blouse in white or burgundy, navy or gray bottoms and plain shoes. The office has the list and a rack of gently used pieces.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Families send a lunch from home, and a teacher sits with each class at lunch. Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll.

Leaving the program

We ask for a month's notice in writing. The enrollment agreement explains what happens to a term in progress.
