Safety routines

• Arrival and dismissal

  A teacher greets each child at the front door in the morning and walks each child to the right car in the afternoon. Only the adults on the family's pickup list may collect a child.

• Visitors

  Every visitor signs in at the office and wears a badge. Parents who help in a classroom sign in the same way.

• Drills

  We practice fire and severe-weather drills on a calendar the principal keeps, and we tell the children about each drill beforehand.

• Allergies

  Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll. Each teacher keeps the plan for the children in the room.

• Illness

  A child who is unwell stays home until the next morning, and the office calls a parent when a child is unwell at school.
